Recycling: Allied Waste collects mixed waste materials from your house and transports them to a Material Recovery Facility (MRF). At the facility, we sort, separate, accumulate, bind or place in a container ready for transport materials, such as paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum and other metals. Brush and Bulky Item pickup: Many residents living in single family households with Allied Waste garbage service are eligible for brush and bulky item pick-ups at no additional charge. Yard waste, which consists of grass clippings, twigs, and leaves etc, is collected by Allied Waste at the curb on your trash day in many areas. Temporary Dumpsters: These containers are available to accommodate construction and demolition projects and other short-term waste generation projects, such as residential remodels and additions. There are delivery and pick-up charges for this service in addition to the residential garbage collection fee.
